Invisalign
What is Invisalign treatment?
Unlike traditional fixed metal braces, Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners to move teeth.
Each set of aligners gradually moves your teeth into place until you reach your new smile.
What are the advantages?
More discreet and less noticeable than traditional braces.
Average length of treatment is 6 months but can be longer depending on complexity.
Procedure:
Formulate a customised digital treatment plan with your dentist which shows your step-by-step smile transformation before you start.
Several sets of customised aligners are made and each set worn for 20-22 hours a day.
Each set of aligners are changed every 1-2 weeks depending on your plan.
After treatment is complete you may be required to wear a retainer to prevent your teeth moving back to their original positions.
Dr Keenan and Dr Vara Pompa are both qualified to carry out Invisalign treatments here and offer free consultations. Not all cases are suitable for Invisalign and you may require referral to a specialist orthodontist if this is the case.
